HiPP HA German Hydrolyzed Stage 2 Combiotic Follow-On Formula is specifically created to support babies who have sensitivities to cow's milk protein, resulting in issues like skin problems, hay fever-like symptoms, and digestion problems associated with other baby formulas. It is suitable for babies aged six months and older and can be used as a breast milk substitute or to supplement breastfeeding.

This formula is comparable to other hypoallergenic formulas. How is it different? HiPP HA Stage 2 utilizes a process called hydrolysis to break down the long-chain milk proteins, excluding casein from cow's milk. This results in smaller whey proteins that are easier to digest and reduces the risk of allergic reactions to naturally occurring allergenic ingredients in milk. Despite the hydrolysis process, this formula maintains a thicker consistency compared to other hydrolyzed formulas, even without the addition of starch. Since HiPP HA Stage 2 is based on cow's milk, it contains lactose, similar to breast milk.

This all-natural formula naturally contains omega-3 and omega-6 long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids, including AA and DHA, which are essential for the development of brain and eye tissue. Additionally, like natural breast milk, HiPP HA Stage 2 includes probiotics and prebiotics that contribute to the establishment of a healthy gut microbiome in babies.
