Local Pickup and Local Same-Day Delivery
If you are in Los Angeles or the surrounding areas, you do not have to wait on a courier for your baby formula. We hold European formula in stock here, so an order placed today can be in your hands today — driven to your door by DoorDash, Uber or one of our own vetted drivers, or collected curbside from our Burbank pickup point without leaving your car.
How pickup works
Four steps, and the whole thing runs over text so you are never left waiting on a phone line.
- Place your order. At checkout, choose Local Pickup instead of shipping. You will get a confirmation email with your order number.
- Text us to book a window. Send “pickup” and your order number — it looks like #BPB1234 — to (747) 231-0238. We reply with the windows open that day and you pick one.
- Come by at your window. Our pickup point is 627 E Elmwood Ave, Burbank, CA 91501, just off the 134 and about fifteen minutes from downtown Los Angeles.
- Text us when you arrive. Send your car’s make, model and colour, and switch your hazards on. We bring the order out to you.
So that you only make the trip once. Pickup windows are set in blocks through the day and they shift depending on what else is running — if you arrive outside one, you would have to leave and come back. Nobody with an infant in the back seat has time for that. One text and we tell you exactly when to come.
If you ordered by text
Once we have confirmed what you want and the total, send payment by Zelle to LA Bio Organic Trading Corp at 747 231 0238. Cash on collection is also fine — just settle any Zelle payment before you set off rather than at the car. When your order is packed we text you the windows available that day, exactly as above.
Same-day delivery across Los Angeles and surrounding areas
This is the part most formula shops cannot offer at all. Because the stock is already here rather than in transit from Europe, we can put your formula in a car and have it with you the same day.
Same-day local delivery covers Los Angeles and the surrounding areas — roughly a 50-mile radius from our Burbank shelves. Rather than have you guess from a map, there are two ways to get a definite answer in seconds:
1. Text us at (747) 231-0238 with your address and we will tell you straight away whether we reach you.
2. Enter your address at checkout. If same-day local delivery appears as a delivery option, you are covered. If it does not appear, we cannot reach you that day — standard shipping will still get your order to you fast, because it leaves from Burbank rather than from Europe.
After placing a same-day local delivery order, text us at (747) 231-0238 to book it. We wait to hear from you before sending a driver, because we have no way of knowing when you will actually be home — and a delivery nobody is there for helps no one.
Same-day local delivery runs Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. Text us anyway if something is urgent at a weekend — we fit those in when we can.
“With the building’s security desk”, “by the front door” — whatever you tell us at checkout, the driver follows.
With no instructions, the driver will expect to hand the order to you at the address you gave, at the curb.
When a drop is confirmed at your address we are not able to accept a non-delivery claim — but we will always chase it down with the driver on your behalf.
We use DoorDash, Uber and our own vetted drivers ourselves, every day, to get orders to people across Los Angeles — so this is not a dislike of the apps. It is the pickup direction specifically. Across thousands of local orders, third-party drivers sent to collect on a customer’s behalf are where things went wrong: the wrong parcel taken, the driver unable to confirm which order was theirs, a parent left without formula and without an answer. We would rather hand your order to you, or drive it to you ourselves, than put it in a stranger’s car and hope. Parents of infants deserve a little peace of mind.
