Holle Croco Coco Organic Puree Pouch, apple and mango with coconut, 100 g, from 8 months
Croco Coco is a Holle organic fruit puree pouch for babies from 8 months. It holds 100 g of smooth puree made from apple 80 percent, mango 12 percent and coconut milk 8 percent, the coconut milk being coconut extract and water. The apple and mango are Demeter quality from biodynamic agriculture; the coconut milk is organic. The pouch carries the EU Organic seal. It is gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan and has no added sugar.
The coconut is why this pouch exists. Eight percent coconut milk is not much on paper, but coconut carries a great deal of flavour and a little of it changes the whole character of an apple puree: creamier on the tongue, slightly richer, and recognisably tropical rather than orchard. It is the pouch in the range for a baby who has got bored of apple.
Apple still does nearly all of the work at 80 percent, so despite the coconut this is a mild puree rather than a strong one. Mango at 12 percent sits between the two, bringing a deeper, slightly scented note that goes naturally with coconut. Three ingredients, and no water, starch or thickener added beyond the water that is part of the coconut milk itself.
It is dated from 8 months rather than 6, which is worth knowing if you are buying across the range. Both mango and coconut are foods that most weaning guidance puts after the first simple fruits, so this is a second-phase pouch. If either is new to your baby, it is sensible to meet it on its own first, a few days apart from anything else new.
The Demeter mark is held in addition to organic certification rather than instead of it: EU Organic is the standard every organic baby food in Europe must meet, and Demeter certifies biodynamic farming on top of it. Holle gives the country of origin for the main ingredients as Italy. As a European baby food pouch this is a snack or a simple pudding rather than a meal, and the screw cap reseals for the fridge.

Where it fits
Where this pouch sits in the weaning day
Holle describes the pouches as a snack between meals or on the go, as part of a mixed weaning diet. Croco Coco does that job with one extra use: it is a flavour-widener. By eight months a lot of babies have had apple and pear in several forms and are visibly unimpressed by another spoonful of either. Coconut is a cheap way of making the same base fruit interesting again.
That is also the limit of what it is for. One hundred grams of fruit puree with coconut milk in it is a snack, not a meal, and it belongs alongside the vegetables, grains and protein foods your baby is working through rather than in place of them. The coconut adds flavour and a little fat; it does not turn the pouch into a meal.
On texture it is smooth, with no pieces, so it still suits a baby who is between purees and lumps. At eight months many babies are managing more texture than this, which tends to make a smooth pouch the convenient option rather than the main one: the snack, the thing in the bag, the pudding at the end.
If coconut or mango is new
Meet each on its own first, a few days apart. Coconut is not capitalised in this pouch's declaration and is not one of the EU 14 major allergens, but if coconut is treated as a nut in your household, read the panel before use. For an apple-led pouch with neither coconut nor mango in it, Holle Dino Dance is apple with blueberries and plum, from 6 months.
Serving it
How to serve Croco Coco
Read this before the first pouch
Feed the puree with a spoon and do not let your child suck on the pouch continuously, which is linked to tooth decay. Keep the screw cap out of reach of children, because a small cap is a choking hazard. Serve food fresh and do not heat the puree in a microwave. Once opened, the pouch can be stored in the fridge for 2 days.

1
Check the pouch first
Look it over before opening. It should be sealed and flat rather than swollen, with no leaks, and the screw cap should still be firmly in place.
2
Give it a squeeze while closed
A pouch with coconut milk in it can settle as it stands. Squeezing the closed pouch once or twice mixes it through before you open the cap.
3
Unscrew the cap and put it away
Take the cap off and move it out of reach before anything else. A loose screw cap on a table is the sort of small object a baby finds first.
4
Squeeze a little onto a spoon
Squeeze some onto a spoon or into a small bowl. A bowl is easier if you want to see how much is actually going in.
5
Warm it only in water, if at all
Most babies take it cool. If you want it warmer, stand the closed pouch in hot water at no more than 50 degrees Celsius. Never use a microwave.
6
Reseal and refrigerate the rest
Screw the cap back on, put the pouch in the fridge and use it within 2 days. Feed from a spoon rather than returning a used spoon to the pouch.
Feed with a spoon and keep the cap out of reach. Continuous sucking from the pouch is linked to tooth decay. The screw cap is small enough to be a choking hazard. Do not heat the puree in a microwave, and use an opened pouch within 2 days from the fridge.

Ingredients and allergens
What is in it
No added sugar, and that needs a footnote
No sugar is added to this pouch. Fruit contains sugar of its own, so the puree is sweet and the panel on the pack shows sugars. Those sugars come from the apple and the mango, not from anything put in. It is also why the spoon instruction is on the pack.

ALLERGY ADVICE: for the EU 14 major food allergens, including cereals containing gluten, see ingredients in CAPITAL LETTERS (if any). No ingredient in this list is capitalised, so no EU major allergen is declared for this pouch. It is gluten-free and lactose-free. If coconut is treated as a nut in your household, read the panel before use.
Reproduced word for word from the ingredient and allergy declaration printed on this pouch. No per-100-gram nutrition panel is reproduced here, because the published figures for the Holle pouch range disagree between sources and we will not print a number we cannot stand behind. The panel on the pouch you receive is the one that governs.
Read plainly, that is two fruits and some coconut milk. No starch, no thickener, no added sugar, no added vitamin, no colouring and no preservative appear in the list.

We do not give a figure for how many pouches a baby gets through in a month. Holle publishes no feeding quantity for the pouches and no recommended number per day or per week, and the honest answer depends on how much milk and how much family food a particular baby is taking. Treat a pouch as a snack and let the rest of the diet set the number.
The 100 g net weight is the figure published for this pouch by its European retailers, who agree on it. No number of pouches per day, per week or per month is stated, because no such guidance is published for this product.

Questions parents ask
Frequently asked questions
From what age can my baby have Croco Coco?
From 8 months, which is the age on this product. Mango and coconut are the two ingredients that put it later in the range than the apple and pear pouches.
What is in it?
Apple 80 percent, mango 12 percent and coconut milk 8 percent, the coconut milk being coconut extract and water. The apple and mango are biodynamic; the coconut milk is organic.
Does it taste strongly of coconut?
It tastes of apple with coconut in it. Eight percent is enough to change the character of the puree and to make it noticeably creamier, but apple is still 80 percent of the pouch.
Is coconut an allergen?
Coconut is not capitalised in this pouch's declaration and is not one of the EU 14 major food allergens, so none is declared here. If coconut is treated as a nut in your household, read the panel before use.
Is there any added sugar?
No sugar is added. It is sweet because fruit contains sugar naturally, and the panel on the pack shows those sugars, but none of it has been put in.
Is it gluten-free?
Yes. There is no cereal in this pouch and it is gluten-free and lactose-free. Some other Holle pouches do contain oats or spelt, so check the one you are buying.
Is it vegan?
Yes. Coconut milk is a plant ingredient, and there is no dairy, egg or other animal ingredient in the list. Holle's yogurt pouches are a separate line and those are not vegan.
Can my baby eat straight from the pouch?
Holle's instruction is to feed the puree with a spoon and not to let a child suck on the pouch continuously, because that is linked to tooth decay.
How long does an opened pouch keep?
Screw the cap back on and keep it in the fridge for up to 2 days. Serve the food fresh and do not heat the puree in a microwave.
Written from the ingredient and allergy declaration printed on this pouch, together with the certification and feeding information published for it. The age and the pack size shown on this page are taken from the product itself. No per-100-gram nutrition panel is reproduced, because the published figures for the Holle pouch range disagree between sources. No feeding quantity, daily portion or monthly consumption figure is stated, because Holle publishes none for the pouches. No allergen is declared for coconut, because the pack declares none; the read-the-label note above is given instead of a claim. Last reviewed 15 October 2026.
