HiPP Hypoallergenic

HiPP HA hypoallergenic formula — organic Combiotik made with hydrolysed protein, where the cow's milk protein is broken into fragments small enough that a sensitive immune system is less likely to react to it. We stock the German range in PRE, Stage 1 and Stage 2, and the Dutch range in Stages 1 and 2.

HA formula is usually chosen in one of two situations: a family history of allergy, where the aim is to reduce the risk of one developing, or a baby showing signs of sensitivity that a pediatrician wants to manage without going to a full extensively-hydrolysed formula. The protein is only partially hydrolysed, so HA is not intended for a diagnosed cow's milk protein allergy — for that, see the specialized range and speak to your pediatrician first.
