HiPP German goat milk formula — organic Bio Combiotik made with whole goat milk instead of cow's, in Stage PRE/1 for babies from birth and Stage 2 from six months. Both are starch-free, so lactose is the only carbohydrate.
Goat milk forms a softer curd in the stomach than cow's milk and is naturally lower in the A1 beta-casein that some babies struggle with, which is why parents often try it when a cow milk formula feels heavy, or when there is spit-up and wind without a diagnosed allergy. It is not suitable for a diagnosed cow's milk protein allergy — goat and cow proteins are close enough to cross-react, so speak to your pediatrician and look at hydrolysed HA formula instead.
