Holle Dino Dance Organic Fruit Puree Pouch, apple with blueberries and plum, 100 g, from 6 months
Dino Dance is a Holle organic fruit puree pouch for babies from 6 months. It holds 100 g of smooth puree made from three fruits and nothing else: apple 75 percent, blueberry 15 percent and plum 10 percent, all from biodynamic agriculture. The fruit is Demeter quality and the pouch carries the EU Organic seal, certified by inspection body DE-ÖKO-001. There is no added sugar, no added flavouring and no additive of any kind.
Three ingredients, and the list stops there. Apple does the structural work at 75 percent, blueberry at 15 percent supplies the deep colour and most of the flavour, and plum at 10 percent adds a softer, rounder sweetness underneath. It is one of the shortest ingredient lists in the whole pouch range.
What makes it notable is that it is a berry pouch dated from six months rather than eight. Several of the Holle berry pouches wait until 8 months because of what else is in them; this one keeps the list to apple, one berry and one stone fruit, which is why it sits at the earlier age. If you want blueberries into a six-month-old's diet, this is the pouch in the range that does it.
Plum is the ingredient most likely to be new. It is a common enough early fruit, but it is not usually among the very first, so if your baby has not had it, meet it on its own first, a few days apart from anything else new. The same goes for blueberry. Two new fruits in one spoonful means you cannot tell which one disagreed if something does.
The Demeter mark is the part that distinguishes this from an ordinary organic baby food pouch. EU Organic is the standard every organic food in Europe must meet; Demeter certifies biodynamic farming and is held in addition to it, not instead of it. Every fruit in this pouch is declared as biodynamic. As a European baby food pouch it is a snack rather than a meal, with a screw cap that reseals for the fridge.

Where it fits
Where this pouch sits in the weaning day
Holle describes the pouches as a snack between meals or on the go, within a mixed weaning diet. A 100 g pouch of fruit is a snack rather than a meal, and it works best alongside the vegetable, grain and protein foods your baby is being introduced to rather than instead of them.
Where this one earns its place is as a flavour step that does not cost an age bracket. At six months most of what a baby has met is apple, pear, carrot and banana. Blueberry is a real change from all four, and because the list here is short, it is a change you can make without introducing four new things at once.
On texture it is smooth, with no pieces, so it suits a baby still learning to move food around their mouth. As your baby moves on to lumpier food the pouch keeps its place as the snack and the thing you take out with you, rather than as the centre of a meal. Holle's own description of this one is that it is pure fruit, for young and old, which is a reasonable way of saying that the recipe has nothing in it a baby needs protecting from.
Spoon it, do not let your baby suck on the pouch
Holle's own instruction is to feed the puree with a spoon and to avoid prolonged sucking straight from the pouch, because sustained contact between fruit sugars and new teeth is linked to tooth decay. Squeeze a little onto a spoon, or into a bowl, and feed it from there. It is the single most important line on the pack.
Serving it
How to serve Dino Dance
Read this before the first pouch
Feed the puree with a spoon and do not let your baby suck continuously from the pouch, which is linked to tooth decay. Keep the screw cap out of reach of children, because a small cap is a choking hazard. Serve food fresh and do not heat the puree in a microwave. Once opened, the pouch can be stored in the fridge for 2 days.

1
Check the pouch first
Look it over before opening. It should be sealed and flat rather than swollen, with no leaks, and the screw cap should still be firmly in place.
2
Warm it only in water
Most babies take it cool or at room temperature. If you want it warmer, stand the closed pouch in hot water at no more than 50 degrees Celsius. Never use a microwave.
3
Unscrew the cap and put it away
Take the cap off and move it out of reach before anything else. A screw cap left within reach is the sort of small object a baby goes for first.
4
Squeeze a little onto a spoon
Squeeze some onto a spoon or into a small bowl. Blueberry puree stains thoroughly, so a bib and a bowl are worth the extra thirty seconds.
5
Feed at your baby's pace
Offer a spoonful and wait for the next one to be wanted. A smooth puree disappears fast if nobody is setting the pace.
6
Reseal and refrigerate the rest
Screw the cap back on, put the pouch in the fridge and use it within 2 days. Feed from a spoon rather than returning a used spoon to the pouch.
Feed with a spoon and keep the cap out of reach. Continuous sucking from the pouch is linked to tooth decay. The screw cap is small enough to be a choking hazard. Do not heat the puree in a microwave, and use an opened pouch within 2 days from the fridge.

What is in it
No added sugar, and that needs a footnote
No sugar is added to this pouch. Fruit contains sugar of its own, so the puree is sweet and the panel on the pack shows sugars. Holle's own wording is that it has no added sugar and naturally contains sugar. There is also no added flavouring.

Ingredients and more
Apple 75%, blueberry 15%, plum 10%. All ingredients from biodynamic farming.
Nothing else is declared: no water, no starch, no thickener, no added vitamin, no acidity regulator, no concentrate. Three fruits, three percentages, end of list.
Allergens: none declared on this pouch. No cereal, milk, egg, nut, soya or celery ingredient appears in the list. Read the panel printed on the pouch you receive, because recipes are revised from time to time and the pouch in your hand governs.
The percentages above and the DE-ÖKO-001 inspection body come from the declaration published for this pouch in Europe. No per-100-gram nutrition panel is reproduced here, because the published figures for the Holle pouch range disagree between sources and we will not print a number we cannot stand behind.
Read plainly, that is fruit and nothing else. It is one of the two or three shortest lists in the range, which makes it a straightforward pouch to check before buying.

Not sucked from the pouch
We do not give a figure for how many pouches a baby gets through in a month. Holle publishes no feeding quantity for the pouches and no recommended number per day or per week, and the honest answer depends on how much milk and how much family food a particular baby is taking. Treat a pouch as a snack and let the rest of the diet set the number.
The 100 g net weight is the figure published for this pouch by its European retailers, who agree on it. No number of pouches per day, per week or per month is stated, because no such guidance is published for this product.

Questions parents ask
Frequently asked questions
From what age can my baby have Dino Dance?
From 6 months, which is the age on this product, as part of a mixed weaning diet. If blueberry or plum is new, meet each on its own first.
What is in it?
Apple 75 percent, blueberry 15 percent and plum 10 percent, all from biodynamic farming. Nothing else at all: no water, no starch, no added sugar, no flavouring.
Is this one blueberry and plum, or blueberry and date?
Plum. The ingredient declaration for this pouch gives apple, blueberry and plum. A separate pouch in the wider Holle range is made with dates, and one European retailer's page confuses the two in its own product name.
Why is this berry pouch 6 months when others are 8?
Because of what else is in it. This one keeps the list to apple, one berry and one stone fruit. The 8-month berry pouches in the range carry more fruits, or dairy, or a cereal.
Is there any added sugar?
No sugar is added. Holle's own wording is that it has no added sugar and naturally contains sugar, which comes from the apple, blueberry and plum themselves.
Is it gluten-free?
There is no cereal in this pouch at all and no allergen is declared for it. Some other Holle pouches do contain oats or spelt, so check the panel on the one you are buying.
Can my baby eat straight from the pouch?
Holle's instruction is to feed the puree with a spoon and to avoid prolonged sucking from the pouch, which is linked to tooth decay. Squeeze a little onto a spoon or into a bowl.
How long does an opened pouch keep?
Screw the cap back on and keep it in the fridge for up to 2 days. Serve the food fresh and do not heat the puree in a microwave.
What does Demeter mean?
Demeter is the certification for biodynamic farming, held in addition to organic certification. A pouch carrying both meets the EU organic rules and a stricter private standard on top of them.
Written from the ingredient, certification and feeding declarations published for this pouch in Europe. The age and the pack size shown on this page are taken from the product itself. Where a retailer's own product name disagreed with its ingredient list, the ingredient list was followed and the discrepancy is noted in the body. No per-100-gram nutrition panel is reproduced, because the published figures for the Holle pouch range disagree between sources. No feeding quantity, daily portion or monthly consumption figure is stated, because Holle publishes none for the pouches. Last reviewed 15 October 2026.
