When your baby is unsettled after feeds, Kendamil Comfort Milk is formulated specifically for the dietary management of colic and constipation — a specialized formula from Kendamil, the UK's only baby formula manufacturer and a family-owned company since 1962. Made in Britain's Lake District, Comfort Milk is designed for babies from birth to 12 months who are showing signs of gas, colic-like fussiness, or mild constipation, giving parents a gentler option without giving up complete, age-appropriate nutrition.

🍀 For colic & constipation relief

🍀 Reduced lactose formula

🍀 Partially hydrolysed whey protein

🍀 Whole milk with real cream

🍀 No palm oil, ever

🍀 No fish oil — algae-sourced DHA

🍀 Vegetarian, Halal & Kosher

🍀 British-made since 1962

🍀 Suitable birth to 12 months

🍀 800g tin

Comfort Milk works through two key changes to Kendamil's standard recipe: reduced lactose content, which means less undigested milk sugar reaching your baby's gut to ferment and cause gas, and partially hydrolysed whey protein, where the protein chains are broken down into smaller, easier-to-digest pieces. Unlike many comfort formulas that switch to a skimmed-milk base, Kendamil keeps real whole milk and cream in this recipe, preserving natural milk fats rather than replacing them with a higher ratio of vegetable oil blends alone.

Every serving still delivers the full range of nutritional components a growing baby needs: plant-sourced DHA from marine microalgae and ARA from Mortierella oil for brain and eye development, a combined GOS and FOS prebiotic blend to support gut health, plus taurine, nucleotides, choline, and a full profile of vitamins and minerals for complete nutrition — whether used as a baby's sole source of feeding or alongside breastfeeding.

Kendamil Comfort Milk is made with the same clean-ingredient philosophy behind every Kendamil recipe: no palm oil (using a blend of sunflower, rapeseed, and coconut oils instead), no fish oil (its omega-3 DHA comes from sustainable marine algae), and no unnecessary fillers. It's vegetarian-friendly, Halal and Kosher certified, and Red Tractor assured for UK farm standards. This is a British-made formula rather than an organic-certified one — if EU Organic certification matters to you, Kendamil's Bio Nature and Organic lines carry that certification; Comfort Milk's focus is specifically digestive comfort.

Because Kendamil Comfort Milk is classified as a food for special medical purposes, it's intended to be used with guidance from your baby's pediatrician, midwife, or health visitor — particularly if you're considering it as a replacement for or supplement to breastfeeding. Most parents give it a fair two-week trial to judge whether it's helping, and it is not designed for babies with a diagnosed cow's milk protein allergy, who typically need an extensively hydrolysed or amino-acid-based formula instead. Used as directed, it offers a gentler option for the common digestive discomforts many babies experience in their first year.

For parents navigating a fussy, gassy, or constipated baby, Kendamil Comfort Milk offers the reassurance of a trusted British dairy heritage alongside a formula specifically built to ease digestion — without compromising on the complete nutrition every baby needs to thrive.

Please note: this product is a food for special medical purposes and is formulated to meet UK/EU nutritional standards. Because there is no single global standard for infant formula composition, requirements may vary by country. As with any specialized feeding formula, use under the guidance of your baby's pediatrician, midwife, or health visitor.

  • Always consult your pediatrician, midwife, or health visitor before starting or switching to Kendamil Comfort Milk
  • Wash your hands thoroughly before preparing each bottle
  • Sterilize bottles, teats, and utensils before first use and clean thoroughly before each feed
  • Boil fresh, safe drinking water and let it cool for no more than 30 minutes, so it stays at or above 70°C (158°F) when mixed — this temperature helps reduce the risk of bacterial contamination
  • Pour the required amount of hot (70°C+) water into the sterilized bottle first
  • Add the exact number of level scoops using only the scoop provided in the tin — 1 level scoop per 30ml of water
  • Always level off each scoop; do not pack, heap, or estimate scoops
  • Follow the mixing ratio and feeding table printed on the tin for your baby's age and weight
  • Close the bottle and shake gently until the powder is fully dissolved
  • Cool the prepared formula under cold running water to body temperature (around 37°C/98°F) before feeding; always test on your wrist first
  • Never microwave prepared formula, as this can create dangerous hot spots
  • Feed immediately after preparation and discard any formula left in the bottle after a feeding — do not save or reheat leftovers
  • Once opened, use the tin within 3-4 weeks and always reseal tightly between uses
  • Store the unopened tin in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Give the formula a fair trial (many pediatricians suggest around two weeks) before judging whether it's helping your baby's symptoms
