The ingredient deck opens with whole goat milk and demineralised goat whey, followed by a sunflower, coconut and rapeseed oil blend, lactose and galacto-oligosaccharides. Is goat milk formula easier to digest than cow's milk formula?
Goat milk is predominantly A2 beta-casein, while conventional cow's milk carries a mix of A1 and A2. A2 protein forms a softer, smaller curd in the stomach, and that curd structure is the named mechanism behind the gentler-digestion claim — not a vague promise of comfort.
Kendamil points to three peer-reviewed papers for this positioning: Kay and colleagues in the Journal of Nutrition (2021) and Jianqin and colleagues in Nutrition Journal (2016) on A1 versus A2 protein, and Gallier and colleagues in Nutrients (2020) on goat MFGM.

How do you prepare Kendamil Goat Stage 1?
Boil fresh water and let it cool for no more than 30 minutes so it stays at least 70°C, pour the measured water into a sterilised bottle first, then add one level scoop (4.3g) per 30ml of water, shake to dissolve, cool to body temperature and feed within one hour.

Wash and sterilise the bottle, teat, ring and cap, and wash your hands before you start.

Boil fresh drinking water and leave it to cool for no more than 30 minutes, so it stays at least 70°C.

Pour the measured water into the sterilised bottle before you add any powder — never the other way round.

Add one level 4.3g scoop for every 30ml of water, levelling each scoop with the back of a clean knife — never packed or heaped.

Put the cap on and shake well for about ten seconds until the powder has fully dissolved.

Cool, test, feed
Cool the bottle under running water, test a drop on your wrist so it feels body temperature, and feed straight away.
Never use artificially softened water or water that has been boiled more than once. Prepare a fresh bottle for every feed, never reheat, never microwave, and discard anything left 1 hour after your baby starts drinking.
