Specialized Baby Formulas

Specialized baby formula for babies who need something other than a standard tin — hypoallergenic (HA), extensively hydrolysed, anti-reflux, comfort and lactose-free, from HiPP, Aptamil and Kendamil. All European, all in stock in the US.

The range splits by what is actually wrong. HA formulas use partially hydrolysed protein and are aimed at reducing allergy risk in families with a history of it. Aptamil Pepti uses extensively hydrolysed protein and is the step used for a diagnosed cow's milk protein allergy. Anti-reflux formulas are thickened so feeds stay down. Comfort formulas combine hydrolysed protein with reduced lactose for colic, wind and constipation. Lactose-free tins remove it altogether.

These are still complete infant formulas rather than prescription products — but the differences between them matter, and picking the wrong one wastes weeks. Please speak to your pediatrician before switching to a specialized formula, particularly where an allergy is suspected.
