What's in HiPP PRE Ready-to-Feed per 100ml?
Every 100ml, poured straight from the bottle, provides 66 kcal, 3.6g fat of which 1.6g is saturated, 1.3g protein and 7.0g carbohydrate — all of it lactose — plus 51mg calcium, 0.5mg iron and 0.3g of GOS prebiotic fibre. The ingredient deck opens with organic whey product, organic skimmed milk, organic cream and organic lactose, followed by a sunflower and rapeseed oil blend — there is no palm oil in it, which is the clearest difference from HiPP's PRE powder box. Galacto-oligosaccharides made from the milk's own lactose supply the GOS prebiotic, lecithin is the only emulsifier, and fish oil supplies the DHA. Calcium citrate, zinc sulfate, iron sulfate, vitamin C and vitamin B12 sit alongside the rest of the EU-mandated vitamin and mineral spread. Allergens: milk and fish.
Why choose ready-to-feed formula instead of powder?
Because there is nothing left to get wrong. A sealed bottle of ready-to-feed formula is sterile until you open it and is already blended to the correct concentration at the factory, so the two things most likely to go wrong with a night feed — water that was not hot enough, and a scoop that was heaped or short — simply do not exist. You shake, pour and feed.
Powder is not a sterile product, which is why every powder tin tells you to make the bottle with water at around 70°C and to use it quickly. What is not in HiPP PRE Ready-to-Feed?
No palm oil, no starch, no maltodextrin, no added sugar and no soy. The fat blend is sunflower and rapeseed oil only, the only carbohydrate is lactose, and the milk is EU Organic certified under the German control body DE-ÖKO-001. The absence of palm oil is a genuine difference from HiPP's PRE powder box, which does contain it.

The range is wide because a newborn's intake roughly doubles over the first six months.
